Phoenix Park Bridge Turns Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

The Phoenix Park Bridge will be lit up pink for Breast Cancer Awareness month this weekend for the bridge’s first special light display, sponsored by Dr. Merrick and Merrick Plastic and Hand Surgery. 

The bridge will be lit pink both Saturday and Sunday nights from sunset (around 7 p.m.) to 11 p.m. The lights on the bridge were lit officially for the first time on Thursday night.

As a reconstructive plastic surgeon, Dr. Merrick works often with breast cancer survivors, helping them feel confident about their body image after battling the disease. Breast Cancer Awareness Month is always an important cause to him. 

Dr. Merrick is a board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in disorders of the hand and general plastic surgery, cosmetic surgery and reconstructive surgery. His goal is to help every patient find solutions to their health and wellness concerns.
